Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman, Landscape Hardscape, to lead and manage outdoor construction projects focused on hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee skilled crews, coordinate with clients and team members, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality landscape hardscape installations. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for outdoor work, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of landscaping and construction processes to drive projects forward with energy and precision. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape hardscape crews during the installation of patios, retaining walls, pathways, and other outdoor structures. Coordinate daily project activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Manage team members by providing clear instructions, training on equipment operation, and overseeing crew management to promote productivity. Oversee the operation of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment including ground grinders, compactors, saws, and irrigation tools. Ensure proper plant identification and integration within hardscape projects to create cohesive outdoor environments. Maintain safety protocols across all construction sites and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution from start to finish. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation of tools, materials, and crew members to various construction sites. Assist with irrigation management during landscape installation to ensure proper water features and system integration. Support ongoing grounds maintenance efforts post-installation to sustain landscape health and aesthetics. Experience Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or related outdoor projects with a focus on hardscape installation. Extensive outdoor work experience involving landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles. Familiarity with plant identification to select appropriate flora for various projects. Demonstrated team management skills including crew supervision, leadership capabilities, and crew management expertise. Hands-on experience operating grounds maintenance equipment such as ground grinders, compactors, saws, irrigation tools, and other landscaping machinery. Construction experience related to outdoor projects including building patios, walkways, retaining walls, or similar structures. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and management for integrated landscape solutions. Ability to operate company vehicles safely in accordance with traffic laws and company policies. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution.
