Garden Center Manager

The Garden Center Director will oversee plant health with watering and fertilization, plant ordering, and grounds up-keep. A successful candidate must have a welcoming character to assist clients is selecting optimum plants for both sun and shade locations big and small. Team member will check-out clients via register station and then help load plants and bulk materials. Friendly & welcoming interaction with clients Good sense of organization and balance is a must to keep plants organized and arranged attractively Ability to converse with clients on tasteful landscape design options Deliver bulk materials and products in truck/trailer Enjoy the outdoors Basic plant health knowledge and care Insect/pest control awareness Saturdays April-June & September-October Ability to routinely lift 80 lbs Year-round position with Snow Services during winter months This role is best suited for someone who finds joy in communicating with guests about their existing plant knowledge, while maintaining the ability to work for extended periods individually.
