A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description

Job description: Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape installation crews on assigned job sites to ensure high standards of workmanship. Execute comprehensive landscape construction work, including grading, planting, hardscape installation, irrigation, and drainage. Review project plans, layouts, and specifications prior to starting work to ensure accuracy and alignment with client vision. Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members to maximize productivity. Monitor production, workmanship, and job progress throughout the day to maintain project schedules. Maintain job site safety and strictly enforce company safety policies to protect the team and property. Communicate job progress, issues, and material needs to the Project Manager. Requirements 10+ years of landscape construction or installation experience preferred. Prior experience leading crews or acting as a lead installer is preferred. Strong knowledge of landscape installation techniques and materials. Ability to read and understand landscape plans and layouts. Basic understanding of equipment operation and job site safety protocols. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively guide teams. Valid driver's license.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
