- Full-time The Irrigation Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, installation, maintenance, and service operations of the irrigation division.
This role will lead irrigation operations, support business growth, manage scheduling and customer service, ensure quality standards, and help build the division from the ground up. This is a hybrid field and office position that will actively support day-to-day irrigation operations both on job sites and through administrative and operational oversight while assisting in the growth and development of the department until is fully built out and staffed. The Irrigation Manager will work closely with leadership to establish operational processes, staffing plans, safety procedures, and service standards while supporting the overall goals of Wasson. Key Responsibilities Oversee all irrigation installation, service, and maintenance operations Manage day-to-day scheduling, routing, and project coordination Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Develop operational processes and SOPs for the irrigation division Help establish inventory, equipment, and material needs Coordinate with landscape and operations teams as needed Train, mentor, and supervise future irrigation team members Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations Maintain accurate records for service calls, repairs, and installations Support budgeting, planning, and growth initiatives for the division Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams Participate in on-call or emergency response needs when necessary Perform other duties as assigned 5-8+ years of irrigation, or related field experience preferred Backflow certification required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of irrigation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, controllers, and repair Ability to read irrigation layouts and property plans Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and team accountability Self-motivated and able to problem solve in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computers, tablets, mobile apps, and scheduling software Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and irrigation equipment Experience helping build or grow a department is a plus The Irrigation Manager is responsible for leading and growing Wasson's irrigation division while overseeing installation, service, and maintenance operations.
