Landscape Division Leader BlueOak Outdoor | Tonganoxie /
Kansas City Metro Pay:
$50,000-$70,000+ depending on experience, with performance incentives
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday with seasonal flexibility BlueOak Outdoor is a growing lawn, tree, landscape, and hardscape company serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Kansas City metro. We are looking for an experienced Landscape Division Leader to take ownership of our landscaping operation and help us grow the division. This is not just a crew-leader position. We are looking for someone who understands landscaping, can meet with customers and estimate projects, and can lead crews from initial proposal through successful completion. What You'll Do Meet with residential and commercial customers to evaluate landscape projects Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, material quantities, and labor requirements Sell landscape projects and follow up with prospective customers Plan and schedule landscape jobs Lead and supervise landscape crews in the field Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to BlueOak quality standards Order and coordinate plants, mulch, rock, soil, edging, and other materials Track labor hours and job profitability Perform final walkthroughs and resolve customer concerns Train and develop landscape crew members Maintain safe, clean, professional jobsites Work with company leadership to grow the landscape division Types of Projects Our landscape division performs projects including landscape renovations, planting, mulch and rock installation, grading, drainage improvements, sod and seeding, seasonal cleanups, bed installation and renovation, and other residential and commercial landscape improvements. Hardscape experience is a major plus. What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional landscaping experience preferred Previous crew leadership, foreman, estimating, or management experience Strong understanding of landscape installation and materials Ability to estimate labor and materials accurately Comfortable meeting customers and discussing projects Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to perform physical outdoor work when needed Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Hardscape, drainage, irrigation, or horticulture knowledge is a plus What Success Looks Like The right person will be responsible not simply for completing jobs, but for building a profitable landscape division . We will measure success through customer satisfaction, project quality, estimating accuracy, gross margin, crew productivity, sales growth, and on-time project completion.
