Landscape Construction Foreman Reimagined Roots LLC West Boylston, MA Job Details Full-time $30•$36 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Career development plan Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Tools provided Qualifications Outdoor work Construction project management Direct client contact Construction team management Landscaping Full Job Description Landscape Construction Crew Lead — Reimagined Roots Lead landscape construction work — $30•36/hr, Central MA. Reimagined Roots is hiring a Landscape Construction Crew Lead for design/build installation work based out of West Boylston, Massachusetts. This is a field leadership role for someone who can run the technical execution of landscape construction projects with minimal oversight while protecting quality, safety, crew clarity, and the purpose behind the work.
Pay:
$30•36/hr, based on demonstrated construction leadership, technical skill, and ability to run jobs with minimal oversight. Exceptional candidates with proven foreman-level experience may be considered above range. Is this you? If you can read the plan, see the site, organize the crew, and keep the work moving without needing someone to hover over you, this may be the right seat. You care about craft, you take pride in clean execution, and you want your work to mean more than installing another ornamental landscape. You do not need to know everything. You do need to be honest, coachable, organized, safety-minded, and genuinely interested in Reimagined Roots' mission: replacing conventional lawns with abundant ecosystems full of food, medicine, native plants, biodiversity, and function. The work You will lead a small construction crew through landscape installation projects: site prep, grading, drainage, planting, hardscape support, material staging, tool and truck readiness, jobsite cleanup, daily documentation, and client-facing professionalism. Your job is to make the plan buildable in the field. That means thinking ahead, loading the right tools, seeing material gaps before they stall the crew, keeping people clear on what matters today, and knowing when to escalate scope, safety, layout, or client questions. What success looks like Projects keep moving because the crew knows the plan, tools and materials are ready, and avoidable delays are caught early. Work is installed cleanly, safely, and with low rework because you inspect quality as the job progresses. The client, crew, and leadership team trust the jobsite because communication is respectful, direct, and documented. Where it goes This role can grow into deeper foreman ownership, more complex project leadership, and potentially project-management responsibility as Reimagined Roots grows. The path is earned through reliable execution, mission alignment, quality, safety, crew development, and the ability to run work without constant oversight. Why Reimagined Roots We are not trying to be a conventional lawn-care company. We are building landscapes that restore soil, support life, feed people, and reconnect communities to the land. Our values — Rooted in Resilience, Conscious Curiosity, Radical Candor, Zest, and Areté — are not wall art. They show up in how we handle hard days, feedback, mistakes, clients, tools, and the land itself. What we provide Company tools, trucks, trailers, and major equipment needed for the work Field systems for job details, documentation, time tracking, and communication A mission-driven team and a real opportunity to grow as the company scales Access to educational resources around ecology, plants, personal development, and the craft of this work This isn't for you if… You want "just a landscaping job" and do not care about ecological or regenerative work. You need constant direction before moving the crew or job forward. You avoid feedback, blame others, or bring ego into crew leadership. You cut corners on safety, quality, client respect, tools, trucks, or jobsite organization. You are not reliable for early starts, outdoor work, and real field conditions. How to apply Send a short note about your landscape construction experience, the kind of work you are strongest at, and why Reimagined Roots' mission interests you. We will review strong-fit applicants quickly and move qualified candidates into a short screen, interview, and paid working interview / field trial.
