Parks Manager

Day-to-day operations of the City Park including campgrounds and cabins: Schedule Park Rangers and Maintenance Workload assignments and instructions for Park Rangers and Maintenance Personnel training Create work orders for building, equipment, or grounds maintenance or repairs Pursue grant funding for parks and recreation facilities

Budgeting:

monitors revenues and expenditures, prepares budget requests Ensures a standard of cleanliness is maintained in the Parks Use various equipment including zero-turn, riding lawn mowers, weed whackers, etc. Ability to drive golf cart, Ranger, pick-up truck, etc. Communicate tactfully and courteously with visitors, public, and civic organizations Maintain reservations and pavilion rentals year-round Ensure all vehicles and campers entering the park are registered or permitted Use Campspot software, take campground, pavilions, and gazebo reservations
