A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

The Landscape Supervisor is responsible for leading landscape installation crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires someone who can effectively manage people, equipment, materials, and daily production while maintaining strong communication with customers and company leadership. Duties & Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape installation crews on commercial and residential projects. Plan daily work activities and ensure crews have the materials, equipment, and information needed before work begins. Install hardscape and landscape projects including planting, grading, mulch, edging, decorative stone, sod, and other landscape features. Read landscape plans and communicate project expectations to crew members. Maintain project schedules while meeting productivity and quality goals. Ensure projects are completed according to company standards and customer expectations. Train and develop crew members in proper installation techniques and safe equipment operation. Perform daily equipment inspections and promote proper care of company trucks, trailers, and equipment. Assist with snow operations during the winter season as needed. Experience & Skills Proven leadership experience in landscape installation. Strong knowledge of landscape construction practices and equipment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and productivity. Commitment to safety and accountability. Customers receive professional communication and high-quality workmanship. Equipment and materials are properly maintained and cared for. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
