Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lawn and Landscaping Foreman, where you'll lead and oversee all aspects of outdoor maintenance and landscaping projects. This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces while motivating and supervising a skilled crew. As a key leader on-site, you'll ensure that every project meets high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional results with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Supervise daily operations of landscaping crews, assigning tasks related to lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation, and general maintenance. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control to ensure healthy and vibrant outdoor environments. Coordinate construction projects such as installing new landscapes, hardscapes, or irrigation systems from start to finish. Lead tree care operations including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and aesthetic appeal. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards by conducting regular inspections and training sessions. Manage equipment maintenance schedules for mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and other landscaping machinery to maximize operational efficiency. Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand project requirements and provide expert recommendations for landscape improvements. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant health and garden aesthetics. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments with excellent leadership skills. Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing schedules, fertilization, aeration, and pest management. Familiarity with construction processes related to landscape installation such as hardscaping or irrigation system setup. Ability to perform tree care tasks safely and effectively while assessing tree health and structural stability. Strong understanding of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to ensure proper watering schedules. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in maintenance routines.
