Job Description

Summary:
The Landscape Install Manager oversees all aspects of landscape installation projects from sales hand-off through project completion. This position is responsible for managing installation crews, planning and staging materials, ensuring quality and profitability, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and upselling opportunities. Clear and frequent communication with customers is an essential aspect of this position. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination (Pre Job)
  • Work with sales staff to confirm scope and details of upcoming projects.
  • Schedule and organize upcoming jobs, picking the right crews for the right jobs.
  • Manage production checklists and conduct pre-job tasks before project start date, including orders and delivery of materials necessary.
  • Stage products at shop or on job site before they are needed ensuring there are no delays in production. (During Job)
  • Monitor productivity of install crews and perform daily site inspections for workmanship, adherence to design plans, and answer any questions they may have about the project.
  • Oversee all installation activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to clients expectations.
  • Interact with installation customers daily to answer questions they may have and give update on progress. (Post Job)
  • Address any punch-list items and resolve issues quickly.
  • Document project completion, gather feedback, and support warranty or maintenance follow-up.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through final walk-throughs and follow-up after job completion.
Crew Management & Training
  • Manage installation crews, assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and enforcing safety standards.
  • Train new crew members on installation practices, equipment use, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
  • Foster a positive team environment, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Conduct post-job reviews to identify opportunities for improvement. Upselling
  • Upsell additional enhancements, such as upgrades and maintenance services, during current projects. Work with sales team to deliver upsell opportunities to customers. Administrative & Compliance
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost-tracking, and reporting as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to improve operational procedures and drive continuous improvement.
