Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mow Crew Foreman to lead our landscaping and grounds maintenance team. In this role, you will oversee daily mowing operations, coordinate landscape maintenance activities, and ensure the highest standards of outdoor care. Your leadership will drive team productivity, uphold safety protocols, and deliver exceptional outdoor environments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage outdoor projects, supervise crew members, and contribute to the beautification of various properties. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance workers, ensuring efficient completion of mowing, landscaping, and grounds care tasks Plan daily work schedules and assign crew members to specific tasks based on project needs and skill levels Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools safely and effectively Oversee landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, plant identification, pruning, edging, and hardscape installation Manage irrigation systems and assist with irrigation management to ensure healthy plant growth and water efficiency, not necessary but a bonus. Conduct site inspections to monitor quality standards, identify issues such as pest or plant health problems, and implement solutions and/or report for solutions Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies during all outdoor work activities Snow plowing/salting knowledge and experience for the winter months. Ability to operate a commercial plow and sander independently and be responsible for a "route" with in the parameters of service per property. Mechanical repair knowledge of simple issues that arise on site of equipment/vehicles. Skills Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices Proven supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and coordinate crew members Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and grounds maintenance techniques Ability to operate a variety of outdoor equipment including one ton trucks, trailers, snow plows, sanders, mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools Construction experience related to construction projects or outdoor site development is a plus Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in outdoor environments Knowledge of tree care practices and grounds maintenance equipment operation Experience with company vehicle operation for transporting equipment or materials between sites Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and quality standards Join us as a Mow Crew Foreman to lead dynamic teams in transforming outdoor spaces! $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
