Job Overview Join a busy and stable landscaping team as a Landscape Foreman or Laborer and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful environments! This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, lead or support landscaping projects, and develop your skills in grounds maintenance. This role can also transition to the winter months with Snow Plow Drivers and Shoveling Crew positions available for the right candidate! Interested candidates should have professional landscaping experience, a valid NYS drivers license and a working, reliable, smart phone for daily digital scheduling and online work orders. Duties Lead or assist with landscape installation, assigning tasks and ensuring safety protocols are followed Oversee or assist with landscaping activities such as pruning, trimming, hand-edging, planting, mulch installation as well as grading and sod installation Follow detailed work ordered on daily jobs Follow plans for plant installation (flowers, shrubs and trees) according to design plan Experience Outdoor work experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or construction is a must! Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plant identification, and horticulture practices Ability to use all hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators and lawn care machinery Understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
