This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of mowing crews and routes, ensuring quality standards are met, and acting as a key liaison between field operations and the office. Responsibilities Assist with hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions for mowing division staff Select crew leaders and crew members; build and manage effective teams Conduct periodic site visits to monitor quality, production, and identify underperforming crews or routes Coach and train crew leaders and crew members using best practices to improve work methods and standards Proactively identify and resolve production problems to minimize risk, damage, and identify opportunities Mow, trim, and blow properties as needed to meet quality standards Utilize tracking system for customer issues and property damage (accessible by office/management) Address property and turf damage with customers and arrange for repairs Assist with morning crew launches, end-of-day unloading, and morning meetings/huddles Act as liaison between field operations, the office, and the shop Promote the safe and proper use and care of all equipment and tools Maintain high standards of cleanliness for company vehicles, equipment, and customer work sites Assist with managing a winter zone for snow removal operations Ensure employee adherence to company dress code Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior experience in crew or field management, preferably in landscaping or a related trade Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to identify and resolve operational problems quickly and effectively Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license required Snow removal experience
Pay:
$57,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
