We bring the joy of skating to communities nationwide. Currently, we are seeking a Venue Manager for our seasonal ice skating venue in Tuxedo Park, NY. The Venue Manager will oversee daily operations at the ice rink, lead a team, and help create memorable experiences for skaters of all ages. Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to manage the Ice Rink at Tuxedo Reserve. This seasonal position offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily rink operations, including opening/closing, maintenance, & cleanliness Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff Manage and oversee staff schedule Manage payroll budget, daily reporting, bank deposits, admin tasks Operate POS & online ticketing/waiver systems Maintain customer service standards; resolve inquiries professionally in a timely manner Uphold company protocols and "responsibility code" Conduct daily ice inspections and maintenance Maintain facility assets (equipment, skates, POS, sound) Identify areas for improvement; enhance operations and customer experience Assist with rink setup/removal alongside professional install team Qualifications 3+ years management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills Motivated, positive, excellent interpersonal skills Hiring, managing & training experience Team player who works well across all levels Proficient in Google Workspace, POS & payroll systems Excellent oral/written communication Able to work under pressure & meet deadlines Flexible schedule incl. nights/weekends/holidays Valid driver's license Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift daily Job Type Full-Time, Seasonal
