Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to execute lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance tasks efficiently. Oversee landscape installation projects including hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper setup, operation, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence. Operate company vehicles and landscaping equipment safely to perform groundskeeping duties across multiple sites. Lead team management efforts by assigning tasks, providing training on horticulture best practices, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and maintenance schedules for ongoing grounds upkeep. Experience Proven outdoor work experience with a strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with hardscape construction projects such as paving or stonework. Ability to identify plants accurately and apply horticultural principles effectively. Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools. Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on crew management and safety compliance within outdoor settings.
