Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead outdoor groundskeeping and landscaping projects in. This role is perfect for someone passionate about horticulture, landscape design, and team leadership. You will oversee the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they meet high standards of beauty, safety, and sustainability. Your expertise in lawn care, irrigation management, and grounds maintenance will drive the success of our projects while fostering a positive team environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse construction projects and develop your leadership skills in outdoor work. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to execute lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance tasks efficiently. Oversee landscape installation projects including hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Manage irrigation systems, ensuring proper setup, operation, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and ground covers to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence. Operate company vehicles and landscaping equipment safely to perform groundskeeping duties across multiple sites. Lead team management efforts by assigning tasks, providing training on horticulture best practices, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and maintenance schedules for ongoing grounds upkeep. Experience Proven outdoor work experience with a strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with hardscape construction projects such as paving or stonework. Ability to identify plants accurately and apply horticultural principles effectively. Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools. Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on crew management and safety compliance within outdoor settings. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
