A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside installation crews on landscape and hardscape projects. Install trees, shrubs, perennials, mulch, edging, sod, drainage systems, pavers, retaining walls, and other landscape features. Read and execute landscape designs and installation plans. Coordinate daily jobsite activities and maintain production goals. Train and mentor crew members. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. Operate landscaping equipment, skid steers, compact equipment, and power tools safely. Maintain clean, organized jobsites, trucks, and equipment. Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
Qualifications:
Previous landscape installation experience required. Crew leadership or foreperson experience preferred. Strong knowledge of landscape installation practices and materials. Ability to identify common landscape plants, shrubs, and trees. Experience with grading, drainage, and hardscape installation is a plus. Ability to lead by example and motivate a team. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
