Grounds Supervisor (Part-Time)Toledo Zoo & AquariumThe Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. Our Facilities & Grounds team is in search of a part-time Grounds Supervisor who is passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience. There is nothing that compares to coming to work surrounded by over 10,000 animals! This position will be responsible for the supervision and training of part-time Facilities and Grounds employees for the Toledo Zoo. In addition, they will provide the services necessary to maintain cleanliness, safe conditions, sanitation, and pick-up appearance of all Zoo grounds. This includes custodial and grounds maintenance, ensuring that restrooms, walkways, seating areas and other public spaces remain spotless and welcoming for our guests. This role reports to the Park Facilities & Grounds Manager and is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Training & Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.

Flexible schedule is required, with the ability to work night and weekend hours, including some holidays.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods.

Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Must understand the importance of a clean and safe working environment with a strong attention to detail.
