Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman, Landscape Hardscape to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardscape elements within landscape projects. This role involves supervising a team of skilled workers, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in creating durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape hardscape techniques, and a passion for delivering exceptional results that transform outdoor environments. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscape hardscape crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications Oversee the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and other masonry structures Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members to plan project timelines and resource allocation Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and durability Assist with site preparation, material selection, and layout planning for various landscaping projects Provide training and mentorship to crew members on best practices in construction, landscaping techniques, and safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience in supervising landscape or construction crews with a focus on hardscape installation Strong knowledge of landscaping principles including landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and tree care Hands-on experience with construction techniques related to masonry, concrete work, irrigation systems, and general site maintenance Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including horticulture and gardening techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project plans accurately Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members effectively Desired Experience 3-5 years recent work history in Masonry/Concrete, Excavation, Hardscaping to include concrete patio installations and working with contractors, and Landscaping design/knowledge.
