Services We Provide Yardvarks offers comprehensive outdoor services for residential and commercial clients, including: Landscape installation and enhancements Seasonal color installation Drainage solutions Irrigation installation and repair Lawn and landscape maintenance Turf & ornamental care Pool service and repair Pest control services Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Landscape Crew Leader to lead installation crews on landscape enhancement and construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing work efficiently, maintaining high installation standards, and keeping crews productive in the field. This role is focused on crew leadership, installation quality, and jobsite execution. The ideal candidate takes ownership of the finished product, understands how to lead by example, and keeps projects moving at a steady and organized pace. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside landscape installation crews daily Install landscape materials including plants, drainage, mulch, sod, rock, seasonal color, and related enhancements Ensure all work is completed according to Yardvarks' quality standards Review project plans and fully understand scope of work before starting projects Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are organized and ready before work begins Maintain productive workflow and crew efficiency throughout the day Train and develop crew members on proper installation techniques and field procedures Monitor installation quality, plant health, and overall finished appearance Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Communicate field progress, issues, and job updates with management Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining attention to detail and craftsmanship Requirements Experience in landscape installation or landscape construction Previous crew leadership experience Strong understanding of planting, grading, drainage, and landscape installation practices Ability to read plans and understand project scope Strong work ethic and leadership skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift heavy materials and operate landscaping equipment safely Valid driver's license with clean driving record Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Opportunities for advancement and leadership growth Supportive, team-focused work environment Ready to Join Us?
