Description Job description: Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our team in delivering high-quality landscape services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising landscape projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specifications.
Oversee lawn care, tree care, and garden maintenance, including planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
Build and maintain various landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls.
Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and equipment usage.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvements. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with a focus on lawn care and tree care.
Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising a team in a landscaping environment.
Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design practices.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
