  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape/ hardscape Lead to oversee and execute outdoor landscaping projects within.
This role is vital in maintaining the aesthetic appeal, health, and functionality of outdoor spaces by leading a team of skilled crew members. The Landscape Lead will coordinate all aspects of landscape maintenance, installation, and grounds management, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape outdoor environments through expert horticultural practices and team leadership. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscaping professionals, ensuring high-quality work across all construction projects and grounds maintenance tasks. Plan, organize, and execute landscape installation and maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, hardscape installation, all landscape work. Identify various plant species accurately to ensure proper care and appropriate landscape design. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including skid loaders, trimmers, saws blowers, and other landscaping tools. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of outdoor projects while adhering to safety standards. Oversee crew management by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training on horticulture best practices, and maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or related outdoor work environments. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within landscaping or groundskeeping settings. Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and landscape design fundamentals. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting. Construction experience related to hardscape features such as patios or walkways is preferred. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely; familiarity with groundskeeping tools is essential. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required; must be comfortable with outdoor physical activity in various weather conditions. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects efficiently.
