To help maintain and grow this standard, we are seeking a Site Foreman to execute the landscaping needs of our customers. As an ideal candidate, you'll have a good attitude, be willing to learn and try new things, and able to overcome daily challenges and changes. You will be skilled in driving a truck and trailer; working with hand tools, power equipment and other landscape equipment (blowers, string trimmers, tillers, trenchers, and skid steer); working in the field in a variety of conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) and you will be skilled and/or trained in variety of landscaping installation tasks including site preparation, grading, drainage, irrigation, lighting, hardscaping, plants and sod installation. Additionally, you'll display a proven ability to work with others to maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Your ultimate responsibility is to oversee the installation tasks of our field crews. Objectives of this Role Be a leader and engage your workforce. Own the project assigned by management from beginning to end and ensure that its quality and completion is your highest priority. Execute landscaping tasks assigned by management staff. Maintain trucks, trailers and equipment used during the execution of daily tasks. Work with other crews and management staff to keep shop and laydown yard organized, clean and presentable.
Responsibilities Installation Activities:
demo of existing landscape features (turf, plants, decks, patios, etc.); site preparation (grading, fine tuning beds and turf areas, excavating for hardscaping features, troubleshooting irrigation and lighting systems, etc.); installation (sod, plants, irrigation, lighting, hardscapes, carpentry projects, drainage, etc.).
Equipment and Shop Maintenance:
monthly maintenance of trucks, trailers and equipment; cleaning and assisting in projects around shop and laydown yard; willing to help other teams meet their goals. Skills and Qualifications (we will train willing candidates in any area they are deficient) Able to drive truck and trailer Able to start, operate, maintain and troubleshoot basic landscaping equipment. (Trimmers, blowers, etc.) Able to use and maintain hand/manual tools. (Shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, tamps, etc.) Able to use and maintain construction tools. (Compressors, tamps, trenchers, tillers, skid steer/attachments, etc.) Requirements
