Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Division Manager specializing in Turf to lead our grounds maintenance and landscaping operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of turf-related projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate with clients and contractors, and manage resources effectively to deliver exceptional outdoor environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape landscape excellence through innovative practices and dedicated team management. Responsibilities Lead and supervise turf maintenance, landscaping, and groundskeeping teams to ensure project completion on time and within scope. Oversee turf installation, lawn care, plant identification, pruning, fertilization, aeration, and irrigation management to maintain healthy and vibrant landscapes. Coordinate construction projects related to landscape enhancements, hardscape features, irrigation systems, and outdoor structures. Manage crew schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor work quality to uphold safety standards and client specifications. Conduct regular inspections of grounds maintenance equipment operation, including groundskeeping tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery. Develop and implement landscape maintenance plans that incorporate horticulture best practices, tree care, gardening techniques, and sustainable practices. Maintain accurate records of project progress, equipment usage, safety compliance, and client communications while operating company vehicles responsibly. Skills Extensive knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance procedures, and horticulture principles. Proven supervising experience in outdoor work environments with strong team management skills. Ability to identify a wide variety of plants accurately and apply appropriate care methods. Experience managing construction projects involving landscaping or hardscape installations. Proficiency in irrigation management including troubleshooting system issues and performing repairs. Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools safely and effectively. Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in grounds maintenance activities.
