Job Description
Position Summary The Clean Team Crew Leader leads a crew responsible for clean streets, sidewalks and open spaces in Downtown Dallas which will lead to improved public health, quality of life, and a more sustainable city. The Clean Team is a key part of creating a welcoming experience for those that live, work, and play in Downtown. The Clean Team's top priority is to maintain cleanliness on city sidewalks, the public right of way, and parks making people proud of the place they live. Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for leading daily operations of on-street operations of assigned crew; assigns and ensures zone assignments are followed to maximize visibility and effectiveness of resources. Assigns and inventories work equipment, supplies, and tools; ensures tools and equipment are returned in good condition and the team has the necessary supplies to perform their job. Serves as liaison between assigned crew and the Operations Administrator; communicates crew needs and issues as appropriate. Performs and leads a crew responsible for keeping Downtown Dallas in clean and orderly condition. This includes, but is not limited to: Sweep sidewalks to remove items including, but not limited to litter, dirt, debris, cigarette butts, and broken glass. Remove graffiti from public areas (Manager on Duty will approve graffiti removal product and method for each surface). Remove sticker graffiti from public fixtures. Clean debris in and around public trash containers. Replace trash liners when necessary. Light painting to maintain trash containers, lamp posts, etc. (public fixtures). Landscape maintenance including, but not limited to adding soil or mulch in planting beds, planting flowers, maintain water schedule, removal of weeds from beds, tree wells, and sidewalks) Minor repair projects as appropriate and necessary. Displays exceptional customer service to citizens and visitors by answering questions as needed. Assumes liability for and correct any damage due to improper materials or methods used; notify appropriate party of any damage. Avoids any materials or methods that may damage or deteriorate exterior surfaces. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Minimum of three years of relevant work experience. Minimum of 18 years of age. Valid state driver's license preferred.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:
