Job Description

Nick of Time Landscapes LLC is hiring an experienced full-time Landscape Foreman / Crew Leader for work throughout Boerne, the Texas Hill Country, outskirts of San Antonio, and surrounding areas. This is a working foreman position. We need someone who understands how an outdoor jobsite should run, can lead a small crew, and is willing to work alongside the crew. The right candidate can take direction from management, organize daily work, assign tasks, keep employees productive, maintain quality and jobsite organization, watch tools and materials, communicate issues early, help train junior employees, and treat customers and customer property professionally. Our work changes throughout the year and includes landscaping and property maintenance; landscape installation; planting, sod, mulching, lawn maintenance, and tree and shrub trimming; stonework, hardscaping, retaining walls, patios, flagstone walkways, concrete-related landscape work, fencing, drainage, grading, landscape borders, and outdoor living projects; seasonal cleanup; loading and unloading materials; and holiday lighting. This is not simply a mowing-foreman role.
Requirements:
at least 1 year of professional or commercial landscaping, hardscaping, outdoor construction, or a related field; previous responsibility leading, supervising, directing, or coordinating other workers; a valid driver's license; reliable transportation; and a dependable pickup truck suitable for work-related transportation. You must be available full time Monday through Friday, generally beginning around 7:30 AM, have strong attendance and communication, be willing to direct and work alongside a small crew, adapt to different projects and seasonal work, work outdoors in South Texas conditions, and perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Schedule and pay:
Full-time W-2 position, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, paid every Friday. Schedule may occasionally vary because of projects, weather, or seasonal work. Pay is $20-$25/hour depending on experience and demonstrated ability. Candidates with legitimate landscaping experience and some lead ability may start in the $20-$22/hour range; stronger commercial-landscape foremen who can organize a crew, communicate with management, and work productively with limited supervision may be considered up to $25/hour.
Hiring process:
Apply with Nick of Time Landscapes. Qualified applicants complete a telephone interview with the Nick of Time Landscapes HR & Onboarding Team, then advance to a direct interview with the company owner. The owner makes the final hiring decision.
