We specialize in excavation, utility, and landscape construction—from grading and drainage to irrigation systems and final site finishes. Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Landscaping Foreman to lead crews on commercial and residential landscape construction projects. You'll oversee site prep, grading, irrigation installation, and finish work while ensuring the team stays on schedule, within scope, and delivers top-quality results. Key Responsibilities Lead a 2-3 person landscape crew through all phases of landscape construction Interpret landscape plans and specifications for grading, irrigation, and hardscape/softscape elements Supervise installation of full or partial landscape projects including irrigation systems, sod, retaining walls, plants, rock, mulch, and edging. You will also do some concrete preparation. Operate skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, and other light/heavy equipment Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and any scope changes with office or GC Ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, and crew performance Track labor hours, progress, and materials daily Train and mentor crew members in landscaping best practices Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a foreman or crew lead and 4+ years in landscaping experience is requred Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques Skilled in operating light and heavy equipment (e.g. skid steer, mini ex, compactor) Ability to read and follow plans, layout work, and set grades Excellent communication and crew leadership skills Reliable, organized, and solutions-oriented Valid driver's license is a must (CDL or willingness to obtain is a plus) English speaking, but bilingual is a plus Why Work with Woodward Co.?
