A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

  • Gardens Garden planning and design
  • creating a detailed plan and layout for the garden Supervising garden maintenance
  • overseeing the work of gardeners and ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard Managing garden resources
  • ensuring all equipment and materials needed for garden maintenance are available and well-maintained Training new staff
  • providing training and guidance to new gardeners to help them learn the necessary skills to maintain the garden Communicating with clients
  • liaising with clients to ensure their specific needs and requirements are being met and keeping them updated on garden progress Ensuring health and safety
  • monitoring the garden environment to ensure it is safe for staff and visitors, and implementing health and safety procedures Managing budgets
  • creating and managing budgets for garden maintenance, ensuring spending stays within allocated limits and resources are used efficiently o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day. How We Measure Success

        Full Utilization of Software & Processes:
        This helps make all the above possible. Job Requirements for Maintenance Team Member 3+ years of professional landscaping experience Ability to lead and manage a team of 3 or more employees Experience identifying and caring for a variety of plants, including annuals, perennials, and common landscape plants Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day Experience operating trucks and trailers Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
        • Benefits & Pay The pay range for this position is $19.
        00 to $27.00 and is dependent on your experience as a Gardening or landscaping professional. As your experience, skills, and responsibilities grow, we will provide opportunities to increase your role and pay, as well as educational opportunities to improve your skills.
