Job Description
Landscape Construction Lead / Hardscape Foreman We are a swimming pool installation and reconditioning company building a strong landscape/hardscape division around high-quality outdoor living projects. Our work is centered around swimming pools and includes pavers, retaining walls, block walls, lighting, drainage, sprinklers, fencing, fire pits, patios, rock, gravel, and detailed finish work. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Landscape Construction Lead / Hardscape Foreman who can help run small crews and produce clean, high-quality work. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who takes pride in their work, can take good direction, and wants to be part of building a strong brand. About the Role This person would typically have one or two laborers working under them and would be directed by our longtime landscape/construction lead, who has been with us for many years and has grown into more of a management role. He has a lot of experience and will provide direction, insight, and support to help make each job successful. We are not looking for someone who wants to do things "their own way" without direction. We are looking for someone experienced enough to lead, but humble enough to follow our systems, ask good questions, and help build a consistent, high-quality product. Most of our jobs are centered around swimming pools, so attention to detail is very important. We want someone who understands grades, clean lines, proper prep, drainage, layout, and the finished look of a project.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Leading one or two laborers on landscape/hardscape projects Installing pavers, block, retaining walls, gravel, sand, and base materials Helping with poolside patios, coping, walls, lighting, irrigation, fencing, and outdoor living features Reading layouts and following direction from our lead/management team Keeping jobsites clean, organized, and moving efficiently Paying attention to small details and finished quality Communicating clearly with the team Helping build repeatable systems as the company grows Possibly operating small equipment such as Dingos, skid steers, or mini excavators depending on experience Ideal Experience The ideal person has experience with some or most of the following: Pavers and hardscape installation Retaining walls and block work Landscape lighting Sprinklers or irrigation Drainage and grading Fencing Fire pits or outdoor living features Ponds or water features Working around swimming pools Leading a small crew Operating small equipment You do not need to know everything, but you do need to be reliable, experienced, hardworking, and willing to learn how we want things done. Requirements Reliable transportation Valid driver's license preferred Ability to drive directly to different jobsites each day Must be okay being paid for onsite working hours Ability to lift, shovel, carry materials, and work outside Strong attention to detail Good communication Willingness to take direction Dependable attendance Pride in quality workmanship Schedule This is intended to be a full-time, year-round position . We have a lot of great projects coming in and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us long term.
