Landscape Maintenance Foreman- *2 Years Experience Required*

• Role and Responsibilities The Landscape Maintenance Foreman's responsibilities include maintaining the yards of private and corporate clients, mowing lawns, planting grass, applying pesticides, and ensuring that green space looks beautiful.

To be a successful as a Landscape Maintenance Foreman, you should be creative and be able to work well in a team or on your own. Ultimately, a top-notch lawn care specialist is knowledgeable about plant life suitable to the area and has physical strength and stamina.

• Meet with clients and identify yard maintenance needs.
• Maintain gardens and flower beds.
• Mow grass.
• Seeding and fertilize lawns.
• Trimming hedges and trees.
• Perform routine checkups on client's yards.
• Maintain the aesthetic appeal of client's gardens, yards and outdoor areas.
• Apply pesticides to prevent weed growth.
• Shovel snow from walkways, if necessary.
• Apply de-icer in wintertime to commercial sites. Qualifications and Education Requirements
• 2 Years Landscape Experience Required
• High School Graduate, GED
• Valid Driver's License, must be able to back up truck and trailer, operate commercial mowers and equipment.
• Experience in lawn care and maintenance.
• Familiarity with lawn care equipment and tools.
• Experience in handling chemicals and a solid understanding of the safe use of pesticides.
• Attention to individual and team safety.
• Must be well organized with strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills.
• Must be professional in appearance and actions.
• Must be detail oriented and quality driven.
• Must have the ability to think proactively, plan ahead and problem solve.

Additional Notes Physical demands require constantly moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Frequently operates machinery and will use hand/fingers and legs to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position materials. Frequently required to stand and walk, life and/or move up to 50 to over 100 lbs. with assistance. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Constantly required to communicate with ability to talk and hear. Job will require constantly working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements. This can include heavy to moderate noise, extreme proximity to moving equipment or machinery, proximity to electrical energy, exposure to tools and machines used in construction industries.
