Landscape Laborer

Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and planting flowers to enhance curb appeal. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including edging, digging, and installing landscape features. Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and assisting with construction of patios or walkways. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting components, repairing leaks, and ensuring proper watering schedules. Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and team members. Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Conduct routine lawn care including aeration, fertilization, and weed control to ensure lush green spaces. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and excavators. Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic construction techniques is a plus. Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills like tree trimming or snow plowing. Prior experience in landscaping or construction is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
