Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring proper placement and care. Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, trenching, pruning, and installing irrigation systems. Support landscape maintenance activities including weeding, mulching, aerating, and seasonal snow plowing. Help with hardscape projects such as patio installation, walkway construction, retaining walls, and other masonry work. Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify issues requiring tree trimming or horticultural attention. Maintain equipment including excavators and other construction machinery to ensure optimal performance. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction. Prior experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards. Willingness to learn about landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general maintenance practices.
