Job Description

We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Groundman to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our asphalt production facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient plant environment while assisting with plant maintenance, material handling, and production support activities. Responsibilities Perform general construction tasks throughout the asphalt plant, including loading and unloading materials, sweeping, shoveling, operating hand and power tools, and cleanup of materials and debris Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in construction or related industry preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
