Local Landscape and Irrigation company seeking a qualified technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosis,installation, maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential, industrial & commercial properties. During the off-season, there will be or Hardscape opportunities as well.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, repair irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
- Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems. The ability to use specialized locating such as a ground fault locator, valve & wire locator, voltage meter, a toner and other specialized irrigation electronic equipment.
- Effectively and efficiently utilize many different types ofhand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
- Dig trenches to install new & replacement irrigation lines.
- Work with landscape maintenance team to ensure proper watering of plants, trees, and grass
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in irrigation work.
- the ability to use Critical Thinking concepts and tools to raise through different problems daily.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a clean, driving record, dependable vehicle, and no felonies, substance abuse problems and be willing to submit to regular and or random drug tests.
