This position is responsible for assisting climbers and crew leaders with tree trimming, removals, plant health care, and general tree maintenance throughout residential, commercial, HOA, and government properties. Responsibilities Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removals. Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment safely. Drag, stack, and process brush and debris. Maintain a clean and safe job site. Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers. Assist with tree planting, fertilization, and tree health projects. Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous tree service, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding work in Arizona weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation. Ability to safely drive a manual transmission vehicle and operate larger work trucks preferred. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly. Willingness to learn tree care techniques and safety procedures. Tree industry experience is a plus. Candidates residing in the East Valley are strongly preferred, as our yard and daily crew departure point are located in the East Valley.
