Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented School Maintenance/Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our school grounds and facilities. This vital role involves performing landscaping, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks to ensure an inviting and well-kept environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscape areas through trimming, planting, pruning, and watering using appropriate gardening tools and equipment Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers safely and efficiently to keep outdoor spaces tidy Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Perform routine maintenance on school facilities, including repairs to fencing, playground equipment, lighting fixtures, and other structures Use hand tools for landscaping projects, repairs, and general upkeep around the campus Ensure outdoor areas are free of debris, hazards, or overgrowth to promote safety and aesthetics Assist with seasonal tasks such as monsoon cleanup to keep the campus accessible year-round Light Janitorial duties Experience Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or maintenance preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining outdoor spaces Ability to work independently while following safety protocols in outdoor environments
