As an Underground Technician, you will tackle complex maintenance activities, support shaft operations, and contribute to a culture where every task is planned and executed with care. In this role, you arrive underground, connect with your crew, and walk through the day's plan with your supervisor. You complete inspections on the hoisting system, identify a minor issue early, and fix it before it impacts production. Working with your team, you safely rig and move equipment through the shaft, keeping everything on schedule. You will be supported by an experienced Underground Electrical Supervisor who prioritizes safety, learning, and team success, setting you up with clear directions and the tools you need to perform your best.

Your duties will include:
Put safety first by following all procedures and actively contributing to a zero-harm work environment Inspect, maintain, and repair hoisting and shaft systems to ensure safe and reliable operation Safely rig, sling, and move equipment in and out of the shaft Operate mobile crane equipment to support maintenance and logistics activities Diagnose issues and apply practical solutions to minimize downtime Coordinate with team members to execute work efficiently and safely About you A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team High school diploma or equivalent Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills with mechanical aptitude Effective communicator who works well within a team environment Ability to work safely in an underground environment, including lifting, climbing, and operating in confined spaces while wearing required PPE Take pride in delivering quality work and supporting team success Valid driver's license and ability to meet site access Even if your profile does not fully meet all qualifications, we encourage you to apply, transferable skills and the right attitude are highly valued. The project will rely on a technique called block caving to extract the deposit that lies more than 2,000 meters deep. This technique uses gravity to help remove the ore and is the most viable way to recover the resource. Resolution Copper will continue underground development, conduct extensive drilling and orebody testing, plus maintain the permitting and public engagement process.
