In this dynamic role, you will oversee the care and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are vibrant, healthy, and visually stunning. Your expertise in horticulture, landscaping, and maintenance will drive the transformation of outdoor environments, creating inviting spaces that inspire and delight. Duties Plan, coordinate, and perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and irrigation system management. Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscape construction and hardscape installation. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Maintain lawns through mowing, aeration, overseeding, and pest control to ensure lush greenery. Install and repair irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency across different landscape areas. Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and pathways. Oversee landscape projects involving hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements. Apply horticultural knowledge to maintain plant health, control pests organically or chemically when necessary, and ensure sustainable gardening practices. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional landscape services while adhering to safety standards and environmental best practices. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or related fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience operating lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery like excavators. Expertise in lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management. Skilled in landscape construction tasks such as hardscape installation and general site preparation. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, health assessment, and safety protocols. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for efficient water use. Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter seasons. Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions. Valid certifications or licenses related to landscaping or equipment operation are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing training opportunities are available for growth.
