The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and horticulture. This role involves hands-on tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they remain beautiful and functional throughout the season. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Operate excavators and other machinery for construction-related tasks as needed. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution. Assist in hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to maintain safe access to properties. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify maintenance needs or improvements. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment and machinery. Proficient in lawn care techniques and practices for healthy turf management. Experience in landscape maintenance with an eye for detail in aesthetics. Familiarity with gardening practices, including plant selection and care. Knowledge of tree care principles including planting, pruning, and disease management. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators safely and effectively. Competence in hardscape installation techniques for durable outdoor structures. Understanding of irrigation systems design, installation, and troubleshooting. Experience with snow plowing operations during winter months is a plus.
