ModeratePERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responds to assigned work orders.
- Cares for various ground cover including fields, lawns and pavement.
- Mows, weeds, trims, edges, irrigates, seeds, waters and disperses chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides and fertilizer
- Repairs paved surfaces
- Care for various trees, shrubs and bushes and immediate surrounding areas.
- Assists in the preparation of athletic fields and the installation, removal and repair of playground and athletic equipment.
- Assists in the repair of irrigation systems.
- Polices lawns, pavements and various other outside areas.
- Sweeps, vacuums, rakes, shovels and otherwise picks up in connection with assigned work.
- Operates various related equipment and tools in the performance of related work.
- Provides manual labor assistance as required in the District.
- Assures proper levels of safety are maintained in the use of chemicals and equipment and in the performance of work.
