Full-time Position Overview We are hiring an experienced Groundsman to support our vegetation management and wildfire prevention crews. This position requires skilled use of chainsaws and weed eaters in outdoor, rugged environments. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for individuals who are confident, efficient, and safety focused. Responsibilities- Operate chainsaws for cutting, limbing, and clearing vegetation
- Perform weed eating and brush clearing on various terrains
- Assist with defensible space and fire fuel reduction projects
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Follow all safety procedures and crew direction
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of chainsaw experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience with weed eaters and general vegetation work
- Ability to work in mountainous, uneven terrain in ALL weather conditions including in the heat and around poison oak
- Physically capable of lifting, hiking, and working long days outdoors
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to show up ready to work Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in tree service or fire mitigation
- Knowledge of proper cutting techniques and safety practices
- Equipment operation experience a plus Compensation and Benefits
