This is a physically demanding outdoor position—not a general entry-level labor job. Applicants must have at least one year of professional experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, forestry, farming, equipment operation, or another physically demanding outdoor trade. The position starts at three consistent workdays per week, typically 24-30 hours, and is intended to develop into a full-time position as production increases.
Responsibilities:
Dragging, carrying, loading, and chipping brush Moving and organizing logs and debris Assisting the climber with ropes and rigging Operating a wood chipper safely Using ground tools and saws after authorization Setting up and maintaining safe work areas Loading, unloading, and maintaining tools and equipment Completing thorough job-site cleanup Communicating clearly with the climber and crew Protecting customers' property and maintaining professional conduct Minimum requirements: At least one year of professional outdoor labor experience At least 18 years old Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Reliable transportation Two professional references Consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to follow safety instructions immediately Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work full 8-10-hour outdoor shifts in changing weather and on uneven terrain Comfortable working around chainsaws, wood chippers, ropes, logs, and heavy equipment Available for three consistently scheduled weekdays, with interest in transitioning to full-time
Compensation:
$22-$25 per hour Starting rate depends on verified experience and demonstrated ability $24-$25 requires relevant tree-care, chipper, rigging, saw, or equipment experience Paid on-the-job training for AxeForge procedures Safety equipment provided Colorado paid sick leave as required by law No health insurance or retirement plan currently offered We are looking for someone who shows up on time, works with urgency, listens carefully, takes safety seriously, and wants to earn a long-term position with a growing tree-care company.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 30.0 per week
