OVERVIEW
Palisade Basecamp RV Resort is a locally-owned premier camping destination, offering Cabins, RV Sites, and Riverside Tent Camping. This 14-acre resort is located off of the renowned Fruit and Wine Byway, nestled between fruit orchards and vineyards, along the Colorado River in picturesque Palisade, Colorado. The Maintenance and Groundskeeping Guest Services staff will lead the resort to the highest standards possible by keeping the grounds clean and manicured. Resort grounds, includes but not limited to: landscaping, orchard, common outdoor areas, pool, outdoor structures (interior and exterior), and RV sites. An ideal candidate will be passionate about local outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner Mow, edge and maintain lawns, trees and shrubs Prevent, spray and eliminate weeds Clean pool and make sure chemical levels are in working order Make sure bathrooms are stocked and clean, spot clean when needed as a back-up to housekeeping Empty trash throughout the RV resort Clean and rake RV/tent sites and ensure site is level with no ruts Clean grills, firepits and picnic tables Assist with irrigation troubleshooting and fixes Assist with electrical pedestal fixes as requested
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous maintenance and groundskeeping experience preferred Experience operating equipment such as tractors, weed eaters, lawn mowers, golf carts, etc. Ideal candidate is passionate about local outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry Energetic, creative, entrepreneurial, and detail oriented Passion for groundskeeping and great customer service Ability to work independently and get it done Must be willing to work weekends Valid Driver's license
Pay:
$15.16 - $20.00 per hour
