In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring every project meets high standards of quality and beauty. Your hands-on expertise will help create inviting, functional outdoor environments that clients will love to enjoy. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction while working in a vibrant, team-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep grass healthy and vibrant Maintain landscape features including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to promote growth and aesthetics Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects Install hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision Conduct irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Provide seasonal snow plowing services to keep properties accessible during winter months Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks including soil preparation, mulching, and garden bed cleanup Experience Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a solid understanding of lawn care, garden maintenance, and landscape design principles Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators or trimmers Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques Ability to perform construction-related tasks involving hardscape installation or landscape modifications Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions Prior experience in snow plowing or winter landscape services is a plus Join us to cultivate beautiful outdoor spaces while honing your skills in landscaping!
