Full-Time Viron Rondo Osteria and VR Offices LLC are seeking a dependable, multi-skilled Maintenance and Landscaper person to support the operations of our restaurant and commercial office properties. We are seeking a dependable, detail-driven person who will not only handle hands-on repairs & maintenance. Additionally, full oversight of outside vendors and staff is maintained to ensure that all properties owned by Viron Rondo, both inside and out, are maintained to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have experience in basic plumbing , HVAC, carpentry, overall maintenance , landscaping , and winter snow removal . About Viron Rondo Osteria Viron Rondo Osteria, located at 1721 Highland Ave , is a beloved Italian-Mediterranean dining destination in Cheshire that first opened in 2014 . Known for its seasonal menu featuring Italian and Greek influences—such as brick-oven pizza, organic salmon, roasted free-range chicken, and artisanal breads—it offers a welcoming environment with indoor dining, a scenic veranda, outdoor bar, and private event space. The brand is currently undergoing an exciting expansion: the owner recently acquired the adjacent 1781 Highland Ave building (about 48,000 sq ft) and plans to combine it with the restaurant's operations. This includes adding more parking, administrative offices, and a three-floor restaurant expansion (kitchen, dining rooms, bar, rooftop garden) to double capacity. About 1781 Highland Ave ("Ten Corporate Center") The office building at 1781 Highland Ave is a two-story, Class A/B office/medical property built in the late 1980s, with about 48,600 sq ft and ample on-site parking (248 spaces) . Situated near I-691 and RT 10, it's currently multi-tenant, undergoing improvements to serve both office tenants during the day and restaurant functions in the evenings Key Responsibilities, but not limited to: Perform minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixture replacement, drain issues) Conduct HVAC maintenance, including cleaning coils and changing air filters Perform landscaping tasks (lawn care, trimming, seasonal cleanup) Snowplowing , sidewalk clearing, sanding, salting during snow events Oversee landscaping crews and outside vendors to ensure grounds are detailed to perfection Provide regular inspection of facilities and grounds, proactively reporting issues General repairs, painting, and upkeep across the restaurant and office spaces Work with various departments to ensure each area is maintained well, kitchen, cleaning crew, restaurant management, etc. Decision making

Requirements:

Proven handyman experience (restaurant or office experience a plus) Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques across various trades (plumbing, Carpentry, and HVAC systems) Ability to operate commercial equipment preferred: excavator, etc. Ability to clean HVAC coils and change filters Experience with landscaping and snow removal Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and order Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Valid driver's license; Own tools preferred but not required Ready to Join Us?
