In this role, you will be responsible for transforming landscapes, ensuring their health and beauty through expert maintenance, planting, and hardscape work. Your enthusiasm for horticulture, landscaping, and outdoor craftsmanship will help us deliver exceptional results that delight clients and elevate environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape management while working outdoors in a vibrant, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers to properly care for them and inform maintenance strategies Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for landscaping projects Install and repair irrigation systems to promote optimal watering schedules and conserve water resources Manage pest control by applying pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to protect plant health Execute hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and winterizing landscapes to maintain year-round beauty and safety Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant identification, and landscape design techniques Construction experience or familiarity with using excavators and other construction equipment is a plus Strong understanding of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and soil management Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery safely and effectively Experience with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting, and health assessment Basic knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to ensure efficient watering solutions Join us if you're eager to bring outdoor spaces to life with your hands-on skills!
