Carpenter Landscaping & Lawn Service, LLC is a full-service landscape company that comprehensively crafts and maintains quality landscapes along the Connecticut shoreline towns and through the River Valley towns of Essex, Ivoryton, and Deep River. Since 1999, our commitment has been to serve each client with integrity and honesty, placing the needs of the property at the forefront of the relationship and treating each project as if it were at our own home. We have built a very strong and talented team and are currently looking to add reliable, hard workers to our crew. We provide training and mentorship throughout the season. We also run a secondary business where we design custom artificial grass landscapes and golf greens. Often we need help on both crews so turf install experience is a plus!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-maintained. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Duties:

• Spring & Fall Cleanups
• Perform various landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning and edging lawns
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces
• Use power tools and equipment to complete landscaping projects (ie. trimmers, weed whackers, backpack blowers)
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify and address any issues or concerns
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning walkways and removing debris
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Experience:

• Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
• Familiarity with operating power tools and equipment used in landscaping
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
• Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
