Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties are pristine and inviting. Whether you're trimming trees, mowing lawns, or managing irrigation systems, your efforts will directly contribute to creating vibrant, well-kept environments. Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators to perform lawn care and landscaping tasks efficiently. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote lush growth. Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, and shrub trimming to enhance property aesthetics. Manage irrigation systems by installing, adjusting, repairing, and troubleshooting watering setups for optimal plant health. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management while applying pesticides safely when necessary. Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways or retaining walls to improve outdoor functionality and appearance. Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating construction equipment like excavators and irrigation systems. Extensive landscape maintenance skills including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and plant identification. Knowledge of pesticide management practices ensuring safe application aligned with environmental standards. Familiarity with horticulture principles and the ability to perform general maintenance using hand tools and power tools. Experience with snow plowing operations during winter seasons for year-round service delivery. Ability to interpret landscape plans and execute projects with precision in hardscape installation or renovation.
