In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping and horticultural tasks. Your expertise will help transform outdoor environments into vibrant, functional, and aesthetically pleasing areas that meet client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a range of tools and machinery, and contribute to the visual appeal of commercial landscapes. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine Use hand tools and power tools for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation projects Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment safely and efficiently Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote healthy growth Implement hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural elements Carry out seasonal tasks like snow plowing to ensure safe access during winter months Maintain horticultural standards by caring for gardens, flower beds, shrubs, and lawns with expert knowledge of plant health Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques Ability to perform tree care activities including trimming and disease management Familiarity with hardscape construction techniques for patios, walkways, and retaining walls Excellent understanding of horticulture principles for plant selection and landscape design Ability to operate snow plowing equipment safely during winter seasons Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols during equipment operation

Pay:

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
