at Springpoint Senior Living, Inc. in Lewes, Delaware, United States Job Description Description The Moorings at Lewes is seeking a Grounds Worker to join our team! The Moorings at Lewes is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Lewes, DE. We are seeking full-time Grounds Worker to join our team. At Springpoint, our Grounds Employees are here to assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and maintain a quality landscape and maintenance regime that will assure residents and patients a clean, comfortable, aesthetically stimulating, and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide all levels of care for plant material, including but not limited to planting, transplanting, grading, edging, mulching, spraying, weeding and watering. + Replace dead, dying, diseased plant material with new plantings as specified. Make judgments concerning selection and grading of soil to assure proper plant vitality. + Assist with preventative and curative maintenance of machinery including but not limited to oil changes, filter changes, greasing, tire repair and replacement, part procurement and installation, blade sharpening and cleaning. + Maintain flexible working hours to accomplish job duties. May carry radio and respond to off-hours emergency calls including reporting for duty during non-regular work hours to assist in snow removal, ice treatment, etc.
Education and Experience:
