Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Garden Center Plant Installation Coordinator to lead the planning, organization, and execution of plant installations within our garden center operations. This role is vital in ensuring that all plant displays, landscaping features, and horticultural projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key member of our team, you will oversee installation crews, coordinate with suppliers and clients, and ensure that every project enhances the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. Your expertise in horticulture, landscaping, and construction will drive successful outcomes and elevate our garden center offerings. Responsibilities Lead and supervise plant installation teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols Coordinate with suppliers, landscapers, and clients to plan project timelines, materials, and specifications Oversee the preparation of planting sites, including soil conditioning, irrigation setup, and landscape layout Ensure proper handling, planting, and placement of a wide variety of plants including trees, shrubs, perennials, and ground covers Monitor ongoing maintenance needs post-installation to guarantee long-term health and aesthetic appeal of plant displays Conduct quality control inspections throughout each phase of installation to meet company standards Maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, inventories, safety reports, and progress updates Skills Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including gardening, landscape maintenance, lawn care, and tree care Proven experience supervising landscaping or construction projects involving plant installation Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively Familiarity with irrigation systems and their integration into landscape projects Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Good understanding of maintenance requirements for various plants and landscape features Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors Join us as a Garden Center Plant Installation Coordinator to bring vibrant outdoor spaces to life!
